GIGABYTE GeForce 7600GS

Ok so after a blown Mother Board my new rig is going togather soon. My question here is who has any experience with the GIGABYTE GeForce 7600GS

Mainly Im concerned it does not have a fan, and am worried it will be too hot. Im running it in a Cool Master Centurion,
The case in the pic is slightly different, mine has kind of "shark gill" looking slots on the lower intake on the side instead of the "holes grill" and I have a 120mm intake fan mounted there. But basicaly the exact same.

Who has this card, and how does it run temp wise? Im not after screaming graphics, but wanted a quite computer. Im thinking it might be a good idea to run a slot fan VGA cooler, but I would like my comp to be quiet, Opinions? Are there any VGA slot coolers that can be pluged into the Video card for fan speed control?

This card does use a passive (no fan) cooling system, but the 7xxx series use more efficient chips that translates to lower temperatures. They do, however, need to have a decent supply of cool air coming into the PC like any component would. If you plan on making your rig completely silent then I'd recommend you looking into liquid cooling.
Liquid cooling is a little more than I want to $pend right now, so Im just going quiet not compleatly silent.

I will have a 120mm intake right below the video card but I didnt know if anyone had had heat problems with this exact card. Think this will be sufficient?
I also have a 120mm blowing over my PCI and AGP parts, keeping them plety cool. I also installed a slot blower that helps suck out more heat and is pretty quiet.
i use a palit 7600gs no fan and no problems, the heatsink does the job
Ok im trying to get my Rig's specs in my sig now.

But on this topic, What temp monitoring program do peopel use for the 7600GS that will work with Intel DG965RY MB? My heatsink is too hot for my liking, what is an acceptable max temp durring idel?
For now I wouldn't worry about it until you actually encounter a problem. Run (loop) 3Dmark for about 15 loops and if it doesn't freeze you should be good to go. Additionally you can monitor temps with either rivatuner or nvtweak.

Excuse my noobness but what is 3Dmark? Is this the site where you get it, is it just a testing program?

Yes, it's used as a graphics subset performance marker and graphical stability marker for those that build systems regularly. Aquamark is the same thing.
