Hi all, could do with some help here.

We clone loads of disks without any problem but we have one win2k build which comes up with the following message.

YOUR BOOT SECTOR HAS CHANGED PRESS F9 TO CONTINUE

This means a keyboard is required and the whole process takes considerably longer to ghost.

We are building the image on a Seagate Barracude 7200 40GB disk and I think they are being cloned onto a Maxtor HD again 40GB.

Does anybody have any ideas? I know cable select has caused us a few problems in the past when cloning.

Regards

Gary

try xxclone.com / its far easier than ghost and is done from within windows !! actually I cant undertand how they sell ghost compared to xxclone / ghost makes this very difficult !!

give it a whirl / you only have to prepare menu boxes in two windows Gui screens !! make sure you check the three boxes in the advanced screen / write ini ~~ boot something and MBR

and XXclone is by far faster !! and its free to try for a month !!

regards

joe
