Hello, not sure if this question belongs here but I think its browser related.

I have an IP camera where in I can view the live video via browser but it is setup with Java.

I noticed that if my internet is down, I can't view the video feed even if its on my local network... But when my internet is working it loads up right away..

Is there a way to make Java applets work even if the internet is down?

Here is a sample html source code from the IP camera browser page -

<applet name="cvcs" codeBase="http://camerasIPaddress" archive="aplug.jar" code="aplug.class" width=640 height=480>
<param name="Timeout" value=5000>
<param name="RotateAngle" value=0>
<param name="PreviewFrameRate" value=2>
<param name="Algorithm" value="1">
</applet>
