When i try and run Couner-strike in OpenGL or D3D mode, they freeze and crash, or are VERY SLOW that you cant even play and its very glitchy, the same thing happens with games like Quake3, and UT2k3

comp specs: P4 2.4 ghz 800 fsb, 512 pc3200 ddr ram, winXP pro.


i have updated my video card drivers to the latest also.:upset: :upset:

make sure you delete all previous drivers first and then install the latest one. I use this.

Well this is a brand new PC, that i just built. so it didnt have any other drivers on it... but ty very much for the response!

don't know if this will help but u could try installing "generic openGL drivers" - search those words on google
that worked for CS for a buddy of mine

or try updating your directX as well?
