I recently upgraded my TNT 2 to a GeForce 4 MX 440. It works great at first, but after a while of play, iit produces graphical glitches in the games. Colorful spots appear and dissappear, and textures appear and dissappear. This is definitely a video card issue as it was my only upgrade.

With the upgrade Im running a

1Ghz AMD proc
640 MB RAM
GeForce 4 MX 440

Ive downloaded the display drivers. Any assistance given will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Dedlokk,

I beleive that the old TNT 2 is a 4x AGP and your new GeForce4 MX uses the 8x AGP. I would download the latest agp drivers as well to see if that resolves your problem.

Nope, its definitely a 4x. I'll still look into the AGP drivers and see if that helps.

Ive downloaded every new driver I could find for anything and everything on my system and still have not figured out whats going wrong. This glitch makes games unplayable. I could really use some assistance here please!

Hmmm, try taking it back to the seller because I think that may be a hardware fault. Happened to my GF 4 MX as well, and I changed it for a radeon.
