Anyone have this same problem? Printer makes a "clacking" sound like gears are
grinding, paper does not advance and printer stops. Message says to cancel print, power down, power back up and should be OK. Did this several times no-joy? Also removed USB cable and reinstalled, changed ink cartridges. Thanks.
If it's making noises that aren't normal, then there is likely something wrong. Simply powering off/on won't fix it. If it's under warranty, have it serviced or replaced. Otherwise it's likely cheaper to simply replace it.
