Hello,

I recently bought a game for my pc. My pc beats all of the requirments except I have an AMD Athlon processor and it says that it requires an Pentium III.

I can play the game for a while but it always eventually crashes after 5-25 min. Or whenever I try to save.

The game is Prison Tycoon 2, sounded kinda fun to me:) I run have run many other games with no problem including, the Sims, the Sims Online, Sim City 4 and Star Wars Galaxies online, plus some more.

Will my new game not play because I have the wrong processor?

Sorry I'm not that familiar with computer components.
 Thanks you help.

Thanks for the helpful links pharoah I am going through them right now but so-far no solution. I think I may try downloading the older NVIDA driver but I'm not going to do it just yet.

Here is what windows game advisor says about my system:

Processor AMD Athlon(tm) XP/MP/4 2079MHz
Display Card NVIDIA GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU
Memory 512MB
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP
Free Disk Space 2.22GB
Display Card Memory 64MB
Display Driver Version 9.1.4.7
DirectX Version 9.0c
Optical Drive N/A
Sound Card NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio

Thanks,

pharoah is right. Onboard GPU's are not designed for gaming on any level.

You've got a good idea there about back-dating your driver. The 91.47 version is very new, and to be honest I'm surprised it's even running on your system - I have the feeling it doesn't actually support GF4 MX GPU's. Back-date to something like the 61.77's, and see how you go.
