Hi
I just replaced my lenonvo g550 screen and now there is large black verticle bar about an inch wide on the right side of the screen and the bottom of the screen is missing about quarter inch (most of the taskbar is hidden).
The original screen was a Samsung LTN156AT02 and was sent a compatible replacement Samsung LTN156AT05.
I updated the intel video drivers, the bios and tried using MonInfo to try and replace the monitor drivers.
The monitor itself only shows up in device manager:
digital flat panel (1024 x 768 60hz)
The max resolution that shows up in the windows 7 screen resolution is 1280 x 800 but it should be 1366x768 and i can't manually add it in the Intel Graphic Driver control panel saying it's not supported.
If I reconnect my old broken monitor, the resolution is correct at least. Also works fine when connected to an external screen.
Any suggestions on what I should do? Is the "compatible" monitor not actually compatible and I should send it back?
