Ok, I'm looking for a Good (I would underline that but don't feel like it) FTP program for linux. KDE based if @ all possible.
I can do ftp on the command line but ... I'd rather use a GUI like some Windows FTP programs, and I cant seem to find
any on the net. So if anyones using one that works well and they could reccomend it I would appreciate it.

I forgot what distro you are using.............

I installed Mandrake and it has one. Of course when I load Mandrake I install everything, Just to make sure.

I have never used it though (I would have underlined that too but like you I would rather type a long line like this)............Do You Yahoo.............. :D

Anyone have any good ideas for a program?, and if RedHat comes with one ... I'm gonna be -:angry2: - Iv been using command line SSH and FTP as it is but its way slower and requires more interaction than if I did the same thing in Windows .... and that just seems wrong on so many levels to me, so there must be a program out there that rivals say CuteFtp for Windows (No it doesn't need to have so many useless features) but the GUI directory tree's of both local and remote are really what I'm looking for, so I can point click and download hole directory's in one quick sweep.

Anyone that can help will be rewarded with .... the satisfaction of helping their fellow man

well crap, I didn't get a chance to post before you found gFTP .. which in my opinion is pretty dope and its what I use :D

by the way you can do complete directories from the command line heh

ftp>mget *

that would download everything :)

wget is pretty coo' from the command line as well

wget http:// ftp://blah blah blah

need to get a whole directory? Np problem

wget -m http://toysrus.com/porn/barbie

and it'd work like a charm :D

see we don't suck!
