I currently have windows xp. I am unable to load Microsoft FSX. When I try to load with disc 1 the computer freezes up, the disc tray will not come out to remove disc and no icons on the desktop will work. The only thing I can get up is the Task Manager and it shows no programs running yet the cpu is working at 100%.

Any suggestions to load program will be appreciated.

Is it freezing once the setup program begins to run, or does it freeze on autorun?

If it freezes on autorun, this may work, but it is unlikely. Put the disk in and hold the SHIFT key to bypass autorun. Once the disk is in the drive go to my computer and right click on the CD drive and hit explore. Then double click on the setup program on the CD. These steps may help if autorun is screwing things up, sometimes autorun will try and get the contents off a disk when you pop it in.
