Post the system specs.

MB-CPU-RAM-GPU-PSU brand/wattage

Post specs of the RAM (old and new installed RAM)
Brand & Model of your Mobo?
Mobo's that use DDR2 are rarely capable of using DDR3.
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz 2.34GHz
ram - 4GB
motherboard - ASRock G43Twins-FullHD
window 7 64-bit Operating system
GPU - Nvidia geforce gtx 465

the old ram is Blackberry 2GB/800D2. i couldnt find the spec.
and the new one is Geil 2GB PC3-10660.
- 240 pin, Non-ECC, Un-buffered DIMM
- Working Voltage 1.5V

im very new to this and i dont know if thats enough info, pls tell me if you needed more.

Thanks!

That Mobo will accept DDR3.
My experiences with Geil RAM have been less than positive and very commonly caused BSOD's. G.Skill-Mushkin-Corsair are reliable.
What are the Error Codes you get on the BSOD?
Do you get BSOD's with the old RAM?
No my old rams worked fine. I didnt reccord the error code but i will nxt time it happens, usually takes about 30-45 mins then the bsod show up.
Cam it be that i need to config bios or something?
You can try changing Bios settings but I doubt it will be effective.
Lower tier Mobo's can be selective about what RAM they like/don't like. My best advice would be to return the Geil RAM and exchange it for a different brand like the ones I posted earlier.
Hmm yeah i guess thats the only way. Ill try get the one u suggest... And thanks youu
You're welcome and please let us know the results.
