A friend of mine took her computer to be repaired, something had gone wrong with windows...he installed a new copy of WindowsXP, but there is one problem,. that is all that is on it, except for some Microsoft Word files which she wanted saved. The problem is,Microsoft Word is no longer on there, so she has no way to open and use the files. Is there any way she can get a copy of Word without having to pay for it?

not if you don't have the original disk to install,down load open office and see if you can access them with that
