Hi there.

I am making .bat files for every single resion u can think of.

I have 4 HDD's atm, and its kinda boring to format them... i was wondering if there is a "code" that u can write to make a .bat file format drives ( D; E; F in my case)

I have tried

format D: /y
format E: /y
format F: /y

but i have to press enter each time... and it only formats one at a time.

Any advice apreciated

Thanx
Don

You are playing with fire by doing that. You may also want to specify the file system. I really don't think you want it to default to FAT32.

In order to get them all to format at the same time you would need to use the START cmd to luanch another cmd shell process.

start "" format d: /FS:NTFS
start "" format E: /FS:NTFS

There is no switch to suppress prompting.
