Font size of url bar in Google Chrome way too small and everything in Linux

Hello,
I already posted this in the Linux Mint forums, but I didn't get a response as to how to fix this. I am running Google Chrome in Linux Mint 21.1, and the address bar's font is really really small. The whole top of my browser is too small for that matter. I can't figure out how increase the font size in the url bar. I increased the font size system wide to and the only way to increase the text scaling factor, but when I do that everything else looks ridiculously big, except for the font size in the url bar. I tried adjusting the appearance settings but it did nothing.

Also I have to put everything in a 14 size font system wide to be equal to what 12 size would be in Windows. The proportions between the icons in Libre Office Writer and the font within the application are not even. Size 12 looks like size 10 or even smaller. I have attached an image of font size 12.

I don't know what is going on here and why everything is all unevenly proportioned and small. I recently installed Linux Mint alongside Windows 10. My display is 1920 x 1080, so could that have something to do with it? Do I need to install a driver? The system info says I am using the VGA compatible controller, but should I be using Intel Iris Xe Graphics card?

I have never had these kinds of issues with other computers I have so it is frustrating. Everything is either too big or too small and it is all messed up.

I am attaching some screenshots. ne is a post of m system information because I couldn't attach a txt file for some reason. I have 14 font system wide.
Thanks

I did increase the scaling system wide through system settings, and it does nothing for Writer, Chrome, Spotify, or VLC. Also I tried the dconf editor and tried {'Xft/DPI': <147456>} in org/cinnamon/settings-daemon/plugins/xsettings. Whatever value I put within those brackets doesn't do anything to the above programs. I don't understand why Linux Mint doesn't adjust to my display. My other Lenovo, a T440s, has no problems whatsoever with the fonts. If I increase the scaling or the fonts it just makes other program's fonts too big and not fit within the programs' borders. Why doesn't it affect all programs system wide?
I am not sure what these wiki pages are telling me to do. Could you help me navigate this a little? Is there something I am missing because increasing scaling doesn't work with many programs in Linux Mint.

Have you tried what's on this page?

Addressbar Font Size in Chromium

Screwy thought: if nothing else works and the Chrome url bar text size is that important, you could change the screen resolution from 1920×1080 to 1600×900 (also 16∶9) and reduce the other font sizes as needed.

I don't know which Desktop Environment you're using but Gnome uses GTK widgets and KDE uses Qt widgets. Widgets are the elements in themes such as application interface styles/layouts, colors, icons and fonts. The widgets for each are rendered differently, internally, for the screen. Part of the problem you're experiencing is some apps use GTK and others use Qt, and the widgets don't mix well. While this wiki is for Arch and some parts may not work with Mint, it's a very good overview.

Uniform look for Qt and GTK applications

I don't use a DE and most apps, like Writer, use GTK. 'Lxappearance' is a GTK theme switcher and can set fonts and font sizes for those apps for a uniform look. I also use the Qt theme switcher 'qt5ct' for VLC and other Qt apps so the look and font sizes are very close to the GTK theme.

Can't speak to why your other Lenovo has no font problems. As noted in the wiki, styles Breeze (also Adwaita) have additional packages so both GTK and Qt apps can have a uniform look. There's some tinkering needed to get the same look for both GTK and KDE apps but it can be done.
