flaw in the ds/zelda 4 ds

u need the mike. i duno if they mean the mike u bu the mike build in or somthing else it does' work my m my mics broken and i cant get past lvl 2 i just started and i wasted what was money or a better game ( i choose that as a present) ..... is there a way to by pas or not use mic or buy another mic to plug in it (the ds) or can i get it fixed
