Hello, I've been having a few problems with my laptop and I don't know if they're related.

First of all, I can't watch any flash videos. I've tried going to the settings manager but I can't click on "allow third party...."

Secondly, my itunes is not working either. It used to work fine, but now when I try to open it, it says the required folder could not be found.

Also, I can't rename new folders on my desktop.

I ran spybot a few times and every time two things pop up that I can't get rid of which is myfreeze toolbar and fraud.spy protection.

Any help would be much appreciated because I'm getting real frustrated with this stuff.

Here are the goods:

Hello Nguyenay,

Have you run Malwarebyte's Anti Malware? Did it find anything?

Have you tried reinstalling iTunes?

Let's see if an online scanner reveals any malware. Please go to here to run an online scannner from ESET.
  • Note: You will need to use Internet explorer for this scan
  • Turn off the real time scanner of any existing antivirus program while performing the online scan
  • Tick the box next to YES, I accept the Terms of Use.
  • Click Start
  • When asked, allow the activex control to install
  • Click Start
  • Make sure that the option Remove found threats is unticked, and the option Scan unwanted applications is checked
  • Click Scan
  • Wait for the scan to finish
  • If any threats were found, click the 'List of found threats' , then click Export to text file....
  • Save it to your desktop, then please copy and paste that log as a reply to this topic.

Where did you download Sony ACID Pro 7.0a from? If it was not from Sony, please uninstall it.

Try Revo Uninstaller. If you look at the top of the webpage I linked you to, there is a link for a fully functional 30-day Trial.

None of the logs are showing any malware. My recommendation would be to contact ITunes Support since it is their software.
