I have gone through the steps of having to tell the person that they have lost everything and they need a new hard drive, well today is the day that the hard drive arrives and now she is asking me to do a fresh install of vista for her, I said fine, do you have the disk? No

My problem is that I have a windows anytime upgrade Cd and I am unsure as to if that will be enough to do a fresh install of a computer or do i need a different Cd?

Other than that everything is going smoothly.

Make and model of the computer.
Does it have a Vista sticker with the product name and product key?

Easiest solution is to have her order a recovery DVD from the manufacturer. It'll even include the programs and drivers needed to get it up and functioning in the minimum amount of time.
