Ok I just got my first webserver up and ready to go and now I need a domain name, but there's a catch.

I need one that works with a dynamic ip and has the ability to support a non-standard port. I'm really new at this and would appreciate all the help I can get.

All domains work with a dynamic IP and can be run on any port you choose. The port you run it on depends on your httpd.conf as for the dynamic IP you will need an update client that will update your ip with the main server.

Free domains are available from: www.dyndns.org

Or you can buy them from various sites: www.godaddy.com (and others this is simply my favorite)
