My Budget is up to £250
I havent built a computer before
I have no brand preferences and i wouldnt mind help on the case.

Think that covers it.

The components i was thinking of are:

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5 SATA 6GB Internal Hard Drive --- £43


Hypertec Hyperam 2GB PC6400 DDR2 RAM --- £22


Pioneer 22x DVD-RW/RAM labelflash Blk IDE kit --- £19.99



I just want to check compatibility, what specs it will get and take suggestions on improvements.
This is only intended as a test computer so the specs dont matter to much but i would like to make sure it will work together before i buy the parts.

PSU's supplied with cases are rarely any better than junk. You will want a good quality 550W minimum PSU for the PCI-E GPU.
ECS Mobo's are lower tier. Asus & Gigabyte are good.
