The fans and hdd run but the cpu cooler will not run. There is no signal to the monitor. Here is the build:

-GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX
-Intel Pentium E2180 Allendale 2.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor
- BFG Tech BFGR7950512GTOCE GeForce 7950GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16
-2 256mb sticks of RAM(unknown brand or speed)
-1 1gb stick (of unknown brand or speed)
-Antec Sonata III 500 Black 0.8mm cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower -Computer Case 500W Power Supply
-ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler
I just can't seem to get a signal out of it. I'm not sure if it's a power with the power supply, or the mobo or the cpu cooler. Any ideas or common things to check for with these kinds of problems?
Thanks

Hi InazumaQ, first make sure all your power connectors are seated securely. Then I would either plug the cpu fan into another fan power header or remove the cpu fan/cooler and plug it into a fan header on another computer. If it runs fine plugged into the other header or computer, there is a problem with the cpu fan header on your motherboard. To troubleshoot, I would remove the 2x 256 sticks of memory and run on the 1gb in the memory slot closest to the cpu socket. Get the cpu fan problem sorted out first. Mike
