If your computer is catching fire, I would turn it off, remove the battery and unplug it. Take it to a qualified technician. It sounds as if your video cable is shorting out.

My computer has caught of fire.
If i ever push my screen back it will over heat and start a fire on the lower left side of the screen.
Currently it is only giving me a white screen and sounds like it is working normally but i just can't see anything.
I tried to resent it, take out the battery, and keyboard smashed it.
It gave me an only white scree in the past and cleared up after a few hours but now it's not working.
I tried to put another monitor in it and it didn't work.
Hope I'm not the only one with this problem.
