Hi I have windows xp and I have 4 drives, in one of drive is f drive and is of 40GB, I had hidden few files in that drive, and didnt used it for some time, now when I opened it files are not displying, i have checked show all files, but stil no files are displayed, expect 1 excel file, pleas help how can i view those files which are not shown

First run check disk. Go to Start/Run and type CMD and press enter. In the Command Prompt type the drive letter of the drive (eg) F: and press enter (eg) F:\> now type chkdsk /F and press enter. Then type a Y for Yes to Unmount the drive. Check Disk will check the file system.
You can then Run Unhide.exe on the drive. And do a search of the drive for the name of the file, it may have accidentally gotten dragged a into a folder on that drive.
