file system ?

right from ms here

wow that lost me streight away ime using xp home i think on ntfs file system but my pc is pants its a ADM Duron 995 processor with 240mb ram but ive got 2x 128mb ram so that should be 256mb ram souldn't it ??

PS how do i find out the size of my hard drive DESPERATE my pc is so slow

click on "my computer" right click on your "C" drive, and click on properties. to show your hard drives capacity.

do a disk clean and a disk defrag and it should help your speed
but you also need to get rid of any spyware or viruses, use adaware and housecall from the links below.

some more ram would help out your computer also.
