Welcome to the board,

Did you change the file association for just 1 file or for all files with a specific extension?

Ok, what type of file is it and how did you accidentally change it?, and to what did you change it to? Is a program thats not supposed to loading it attempting to each time you click on it, or is something else happening?

You must have permanently associated that extension with a specific program in windows, when you clicked the open with command was the box that said "Always open with this program" checked? if it was you can change file associations in Windows Explorer: Tools > Folder Options > File Types
