Ever since I build my new computer, I've been having a lot of problems getting any OS installed on it. I've tried to install winxp, win2000, and win98. All of them give me the same problem. Right after installation, I get a lot of errors. Most of them are corrupt dll files, windows or iexplorer caused an error and will be shut down, can't load files, etc...

I know it's not the CDs, the WinXP HE is brand new. Here's the computer's setup:

FIC AT31 Motherboard
Athlon XP 2100+ Processor
Viking 512mb PC2100 Memeory
Apollo GeForce4 MX40 SE 128mb Video Card
Maxtor 80gig IDE Hard Drive
Sony DVD, Teac Floppy

Here's what I did so far to help troubleshoot the problem:
Changed out the DVD-Drive with a CDRW.
Changed out the Hard Drive with a 40gig Quantum
Changed out the GF4 card with another GF4
Checked all the jumpers, pins, wires, etc...
Checked the bios setting to the best of my knowledge.

The AT31 comes with an integrated video card, LAN, and sound. I am using the integrated LAN and sound, but not the video.
Any Suggestions?

I can not do anything without getting an error. Could it be the motherboard? Thank You

I flashed and installed the lastest bios. Run a clean format and installation of winxp. Still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
