fav's-tools line

I have always been able to see the 'Gmail' thingy in the top row, to click on when I want to view my mail.Today,that whole line of icon-words is covered by the bar for Favorites to Tools.I have to scroll the page down to uncover the words I want to have in view.This is very tiresome,and why it has just happened now for NO reason,I can't figure out.I'm not that computer literate.I have Vista Home Premium.Any help would be appreciated.Pls use BASIC language,I'm not up on all the jargon.TY.:4-dontkno

Do you mean that two toolbars are now sharing one line so you have a down arrow to click to get to other icons in the toolbars? If you mean a new toolbar has showed up, just right click in the toolbar area for a list of toolbars and turn off the one you don't want.
