Hello All:
I cheaped out and bought an ECS GeForce 6100SM-M for an inexpensive build for a friend. This is my second build and much simpler than the first so I'm quite sure I got everything hooked up correctly. Anyway, everything starts up (CPU, Chassis Fans, Hard drives and LED) but system is not recognizing the monitor. I tried another monitir too with the same results.
Does anyone have any ideas that I may have overlooked since I am relatively new to this. I tried switching the CMOS jumpers.
Also, if the onboard video is shot, is it likely that a separate video card would work?
Thanks everyone..............Bob in Rochester, Minnesota
