Windows XP is continually updating weekly with the requirements to restart. The problem is that my XPS 710 will not ever power up after shut down unless I unplug it and wait 30 minutes before plugging it back in. If I try to power up in less than 30 minutes I get a yellow LED on the start up button and nothing happens. It is really annoying that I cannot power off this computer and restart it right away. Any ideas other than tossing it in the trash can or daily having to wait a half hour to use my computer???? I have had Dell technicians out and they have no idea of why this happens.

By the way, don't get me wrong. When it up and running, it is an awesomely performing machine. It is just there are times when it is frustrating when I can't use it and I needed it to be up and running. I also would like to be able to turn it off - it does use some power to run 24 hours a day when I only need it for 4 to 6 hours a day when I am home.
