i have a samsung 2.5 smart-drive external hard-drive. my hard drive opens on my friends xp but it dosent open on my vista. it says that access is denied. can someone help me.

Hi guruboy101!

Did you try to check the hard drive on other computer, other than your friend computer. Try to see if the hard drive works well. Are you using the USB port, also try to change hard drive to other port on the computer

it works on other xp out it dosent work on vista . i tried different ports and it still dosent work. i think it has somethin to do with vista settings. thanks for the reply though
