I have a Toshiba Equium Processor:Intel Core Duo T2050 @ 1600 MHz 2g of ram
My external hard drive is a Freecom usb portable with 232g of usable memory.
In properties it shows the drive as having 126g free space and 106g used space. However when I try to write a 4.3g ISO file to it I am informed that it is full.
Can anyone give me an insight to why this is so and how to overcome it please? I dare say this is soooo basic and has been covered many times before but so am I. On both counts. Cheers in anticipation. P.

Uhmmm you should format it first and change the system from FAT32 to NTFS... FAT32 system could not used to save a file bigger than 4 Gb(unless you cut the 4 Gb data to small parts)... It's easy to do it... Just right click on the drive and choose 'format'. in format screen, change the system to NTFS...
