I am looking to extend a network connection 1000ft. Basically join one house to another for internet access. I do not have a line of sight. Wireless solutions would be around $600. I am now looking to find out what a wired solution would cost. I know I will need switches at either side and either coax or fibre in between. I'm looking for some guidance from someone who may have done this before.

I think if there is a wireless solution that will actually work for $600, you won't get a wired solution for less. 1000 feet of fiber will probably cost that much.
