Can't remember when I did this big of a change. I'm going to the Sabertooth P67 R3 with 2600K SandyBridge with 8 gig of DDR3 1866. The processor and the ram I think will be the bigest advancement in performance. Should be building her up next week some time. :4-clap:

Hey George, I have an ASUS Sabertooth as well and it is a great board, you will love it. I have paired mine with an i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz and 6 gigs of ram. Real pleased with the setup.

BTW, good to hear from you again, don't be a stranger on here so much.

Hi George Safford,

Great setup you got there. Maybe you will probably benchmark the hell out of that machine when you got it all set up.

Thanks. I have been out of the loop a little. I promise to be around more. I'll keep you posted on the build. Few more things to ebay off before I can make my final purchase of my CPU. Eventually I will be pairing my 470 in SLI and another 8 gig of ram. Hopefully over the summer or in the fall.

No games and few apps can utilize over 3GB of RAM an SLI is basically a waste of money. One better GPU is almost always the better option.
