Excel 2003. I keep getting warning saying "The maximum number of data points..."

I'm using Excel 2003 and am using xy scatter plots and importing a text file and whenever the text file updates in Excel, I get this annoying warning message that says "The maximum number of data points you can use in a data series for a 2-D chart
is 32,000. If you want to use more than 32,000 data points,
you must create two or more series. "

I'd love to disable this somehow but don't know how. I've looked everywhere. How could microsoft have thoroughly tested their product and left that like that? It's insane. You can imagine how annoying it is when it updates every 4 minutes and I have 10 charts and to see each chart, I have to keep pressing "ok" "ok" "ok" for each one. Help.

I guess the obvious question is, is there more than 32k data points in the files you're using for your chart? If so, then it's most likely NOT a flaw.

No. It happens no matter how many data points you have. Try it for yourself. Office 2003 version. Go into XY scatter and use either the line or the scattered points selection make two data series (two lines total). I use time for my X axis. Plot it and then see it give you that message.
