every time I boot my computer just hangs............ until I press a button on the keyboard then it boots fine its done this since I built my PC I was wondering if this was an asus problem or not here are my specs:

ASUS p5gd2
P4 3.2ghz 1
024 mb DDR2
and A EVGA geforce 6600 overclocked to 350mhz core clock

Do you see any messages or questions on the screen ? How does it hang ? black screen ?

the computer just sits there almost like its in sleep mode but as soon as I press a button on the keyboard the pc boots up fine

Go to your bios and under power management options look for wake on.... options and disable them. Post back.

yes I ive tried that too, that didn't help either
