Your Ethernet connection is not talking to your router, hence the APIPA IP address(169.254.X.X). Try swapping Ethernet ports on the router, change your Ethernet cable, restart your router. Also maybe your router Ethernet ports are disabled.

To add to what is being said, the Default Gateway (your Router) does not have an IP address meaning there is no communication from the internet router which gives you the the IP address for your computer ethernet jack (autoconfiguration IPV4) the 169.254.x.x IP address. As stated, Power Cycle your Router/Modem. (ie) Unplug the device and wait a few seconds then plug it back in. Wait about 5 minutes till all the lights come up, then try the IP Config command again. If you still don't get an IP address for the Default Gateway, try changing the Ethernet cables, switch the ports on the Router. You may need to boot into your Router/Modems Setup and make sure DHCP is Enabled. If all fails, you may need to speak with your ISP and have them send you a new Router/Modem, or you should get an Ethernet card to put inside your computer.
