Hi Guys in desperate need of help.
I have recently just bought a Belkin N150 router, The desired setup i am after is NTL Cable Modem Home 120 > Belkin N150 > PC & Xbox, using ethernet leads. This is the order i am powering up the devices aswell.
Now I can connect the Modem's ethernet directly to my PC and this works fine and i can get out on the internet. However when i try connecting the router to the ethernet i get nothing, the same happens if i directly connect the xbox to the ethernet. Its like the ethernet will only recognise a direct connection to the PC and nothing else.
I am definitley powering everything up in the right sequence and leaving it for a suitable amount fo time but i get nothing. i have reset the router to default numerous times aswell. I have reset the internet settings, and i am definitley using the correct type of router.
Is this an IP or DHCP issue?
Can somebody please shed any light as i have no idea whats causing this.
Cheers in advance
