so, i could download it. downloaded the 1 from lan, and the other 4 from Others. All installed. But none of them did anything to the lan-ethernet controller, so the internet still wont connect. Any idea why ?

Those are the drivers for your motherboard so they really should work. The drivers under OTHER are combined drivers from Nvidia which is who makes the chipset for the motherboard. You would only need to install the latest version which is labeled version 245.

Are you getting any errors or messages during installation? Are you being asked to reboot after installing the drivers?

Is there still a question mark next to the network adapter in device manager?

Downloaded the 245. Yes it asks to reboot. I reboot it, and that's all, from here on nothing changed

Hello lordr22,

Can you post the hardware id for the missing device?

Open the Device Manager
Right Click on the Device in question
Properties
Details Tab

In XP the VEN_ #### and DEV_ #### is located under Device Instance ID
In Vista and Win7 the VEN_ #### and DEV_#### is located under Hardware ID
