Error Refreshing Cd/dvd Drive Information

Hi all - I hope someone can help me - I have a problem wit both my cd/dvd drives. When I remove a cd or dvd from the drive and insert another one the information beside the drive letter does not update - i.e if I insert my m/b disk, use it and then take it out and insert a game disk or any other type of disk it shows the previous disk information- the only way I can get it to refresh the information is to shut down and restart - any ideas??????? :4-dontkno
