hi
i am using a dell desktop running WIN Xp home and every so often i get a dark blue screen with these words in it:
STOP:0XOOOOOO7E(OXC0000005, 0X8059BEFE, 0XF7906C3C, 0XF7906938
Beginning Dump of Physical Memory
Physical Memory Dumped complete.

does anyone know what might cause this problem?

hi stevannie,

hmmm......one thing you can do is to test your ram for any errors. check out www.majorgeeks.com and download memtest86 and put it on a cd. then restart your computer and go to the bios and change your first boot device to "cdrom". save settings and exit the bios and put the memtest program in the cdrom. the computer should boot to the program automatically.

then let memtest86 run for at least 10passes and see if the program detects any errors.
