It should have been one of the options when you setup the wireless network. You should be able to go over the setup and see there.

What kind is it? Mine, requires that the network be encrypted. I'm not an expert at wireless networks but I do know that someone I know uses his neighbors wireless connection to get on line, he knows but anyone could as it is an open system. One of the Mods here should know more than I about this.
