I am running XP on my machine. It was rujnning fine but this morning, when I started it, it gave me the error msg "Error loading operating system". I used boot floppies. The "Repair" option did not do anything except giving me the "C:\" prompt. However, it does not use the "Dir" or any command in the C:\. I put the OS cd in D:\ drive and switched to D:\ from C:\. There I can do "Dir" command and I see the "SETUP" file there. However, when I try to run it(by typing SETUP on D:\ prompt) , it says that the command is not recognized. Do you have any suggestion on what should I do?
