Error Loading Aunps2.dll

Ok here's the story.

Running XP, SP2. The machine belongs to a friend. When I got a hold of it, it was loaded with all kinds of syware, trojans, etc. I got it all cleaned up, except for when you get to the desktop the message comes up "error loading aunps2.dll".

Now , I read a thread posted on this web site in which someone else had the same issue. I followed all the instructions including: Running "uhhookexec', "hackthis", "ewido security". I also run Adaware Se full addition, Regestry Mechanic full addition. Norton firewall and antivirus all loaded.

When I run the respective utilities in safe Mode, they claim all is clean. But when you get to the desktop, " error loading aunps2.dll" appears again!

Looking in the registry the value rundll32 [email protected] is there again.

You can't kill it!

What's up with that.
