i have an hp pavillion 514n and i recently started getting the error: cpu fan failed. my processor fan and power supply fan is working when it says it. i can press f2 to continue booting and it boots up and works fine but i don't want my computer to mess up because i didn't understand the message right. my bios says that my fan is spinning at 2049rmp (or something like that) and it says that my cpu is at 31 celcius. it runs fine and everything. i got the message a while back when when my hard drive failed and i had to buy another one and reinstall vista. my electricity has been blinking for a couple of seconds at night for two or three days last week causing my computer to cut off. i'm currently running ubuntu now. is there a way to fix this?
