Epson Scan doesn't work

yea, I reinstalled it a while ago and nothing happened, I will try again.

I reinstalled it again and it didn't work.

Note: The printer works.

My problem exactly. New computer. installed origibal Epson CD software. Whilst installing the Easyprint module, received message that "the installer for the specified language was not found" so just ignored and continued. Printer works fine. Scanning using the actual printer works fine. Just can't open the software to scan to my harddrive and get the same message as this post.
Removed all Epson software. re-installed with original CD again; no luck.
Downloaded the only scanner driver available for CX4700 direct from Epson so it is presumably the latest; again no luck.
Please Please help.
