Epson CX5000 error all lights flashing
Hey,
I have an Epson CX5000 and it is royally messing up. All of the lights are flashing as well as the "E" in the small screen that is part of the scanner/copier part of the printer. I have gone through the troubleshooting process that Epson provides on their website and it basically ends in telling me to call their people.
I would rather not have to send it in and all that and I'm sure their must be some kind of rebooting trick.
More info: when you try and print it will tell you to remove a "foreign device" or something and then turn it off and back on to reset it. (there is nothing in the printer that isn't supposed to be there)
I have tried turning it on and off MULTIPLE times along with waiting differing periods between each turn off. Every time it comes back on it goes through a couple things and then locks into this error mode. I have unplugged it and then plugged it back in and nothing seems to be helping.
Any help would be appreciated! If anyone knows of a way to reset an Epson CX5000 (holding down certain buttons etc) it would be great appreciated.
