You could try taking all the cartridges out putting them back in, switching the printer off before/after. That probably won't work (!), so next try the SSC Service Utility. This is a Russian made printer program. It's got some useful options. Can't remember where to get it, but it will show up in a web search, I'm sure. After installing, open the program, close it, and only them will a system tray icon appear, which you right-click. Up come the options, including ink counter reset. However, it doesn't work with all printers!! Thirdly, get a chip re-setter. They are about $10-20. Last - but not least - go to www.fixyourownprinter.com , who are excellent.
