I have an Epox EP-4GLM+ motherboard and am planning on using it to make a Linux box, consequently I am looking for Linux drivers. Apparently the manufacturer is out of business. Does anyone know where I can get system, graphics, and Lan drivers?

Even with no AGP graphics and a non-hyperthreading P4, if RAM (184 Pin 2.5v DDR266 Non-ECC) is maxed out to 2GB your mobo should have at last decent capabilities with a linux distro within the i586-i686 32-bit category range. One cannot think of drivers in the same manner that you are used to with your present OS -- they should not be a problem. I recommend staying away from ubuntu 10.10, however.

Even with one gig of RAM, something like peppernint One would be good place to start. It puts both lubuntu and linuxmint-lxde to shame, IMHO. And with PCLinux repositories in their present state, even PCLXDE is not so good of a choice, either (again, IMHO).

Printer and wireless is where drivers may be of concern, and you have not stated anything about these periperals.

Welcome! and remember MTBS! :sigh:
