Hi,

With a new motherboard (old hard drive OS installed from other motherboard), then you really need to format and install a new copy of the OS. Switching from one computer to the other with a hard drive rarely works and the same is true for trying to repair the old installation.

You need to set the boot order in your bios setup menu to:

CDRom
Floppy
Hard Disk

Save and exit.

Put the OS disk in the CD and let it boot up to partition and format. Then load your OS on the hard disk.

That is my suggestion for you.
