My son must have downloaded something that caused the network device to become disabled on his hp mini and now I can't connect to the internet. The instructions I searched online do not exactly match up with my interface when trying to enable network device using the instructions. I read the users guide and it didn't match up either. My personal network is listed and when I click connect to a network the window that pops up from the connection icon in the bottom tool bar says no connection.

Any suggestions would be great.

Yes to get to device manager if you do not know go to

Start>Right Click on Computer>Manage>in the left pane click on device manager> Then look at Network adapters, are there any yellow "!"s?

What is the name of the network adapter?

Also try going to Start>and in the search bar search "view network connections" and select it and make sure the network device is enabled.
