Have you run a spyware and adware scan to make sure that you don't have anything on your computer that is stopping it? I am guessing that you are opening your aol email a browser like IE or FireFox.

Email on aol
When I open up any page on my aol email it will not let me go to another link on the page.I don't have that problem with my other email addresses only aol
